我要成為青草藝術家！台北信義區香堤大道 時尚聖地快閃

Pop-up Store at the Fashionista's Mecca -- Xiangti Avenue Plaza, Taipei

很榮幸受台北藝術節主辦單位的邀請，在規劃之下2019年的藝術節活動中和更多台灣在地文化相關單位合作，將同為台灣文化努力的品牌串連，並且第一線直接和藝術家、觀眾互動。受到這份邀請對賣艸人家來說是很大的鼓勵，對我們來說也是一個既有挑戰性又有趣的合作，沒想到首次快閃攤位就能插旗信義區的香堤大道。在準備的過程中，為了將賣艸人家的精神—青草與藝術結合，野薑花手作草杯以及氣泡青草茶為主要活動內容，讓在台北信義區的你們也能感受來自大自然的美好。

It is a great honor for us to be invited by the organizer of the Taipei Arts Festival to be part of this event. The 2019 Taipei Arts Festival actively involved many organizations working on projects related to the local culture of Taiwan and brought together brands that promote Taiwan's culture. In addition, the event also foregrounded direct interactions between these brands, artists, and the public.This invitation is a huge confidence boost, and at the same time a challenging yet interesting collaborative opportunity for us. Little did we expect our first pop-up store to be at the Xiangti Avenue Plaza in Xinyi District! In the course of our preparation, we decided to invite people make handmade white ginger lily tea cup and enjoy sparkling herbal tea. The stars of our showcase to communicate the essence of Herbartist, which seeks to bring together herbs and art. With this initiative, we hope to share the beauty of nature with you here in Taipei.

「這是青草茶？！」

這驚訝的問句，是那兩天活動收到最頻繁的回饋，也是賣艸人家致力於讓大家更認識青草之路上最棒的響應！

而在構思快閃攤位的活動時，我們希望顛覆大家對青草的傳統刻板印象，如同品牌的英文命名Herbartist，就是把自己自詡為青草的藝術家！於是，號稱「健康可樂」的青草氣泡飲就誕生了，在炎炎夏日，逛街逛到厭倦時，青草氣泡飲讓你對青草茶苦澀的傳統印象OUT！

 "This is herbal tea?!" This question of surprise, besides being the one response that kept popping up throughout the two event days, is also the best feedback that Herbartist could ask for in our quest to share the wonders of herbs with you! When coming up with the concept for the pop-up store, we wanted to subvert the traditional stereotype that people have of herbs. Just like what our English brand name suggests, we see ourselves as Herbartists who fuse art and herbs! Thus, the sparkling herbal drink, also known as "Healthy Cola", was born! When you feel tired after a hot summer day of shopping, the refreshing taste of the sparkling herbal drink is sure to cast your anticipation that herbal drinks are bitter right out of the window!

好喝的消暑飲品，當然不能這麼容易入手囉！我們讓大家親手以台灣花蓮的新鮮野薑花葉製作環保草杯，葉子的韌性必須經過巧手將其軟化才能順利彎曲成形，就好比藝術家和女性柔軟中又帶著堅韌的精神，而這樣的精神也同樣是賣艸人家所追求的。

Needless to say, you need to work for such a fantastic-tasting drink that drives away the heat of summer! At the booth, we invited our guests to make their own eco-friendly cups from the leaves of fresh white ginger lilies grown in Hualien, Taiwan. The tough leaves have to be softened skillfully by hand before they can be bent and sculpted easily, not unlike the gentle yet resilient grit of artists and women, which is also a quality pursued by Herbartist.

看到大家成功做出草杯還不漏水的喜悅、喝到綿密青草氣泡飲的驚喜表情真的很滿足！當天還有一位媽媽對著小朋友說了一句：「這是健康的可樂唷！」讓本來不願意嘗試的小朋友試著喝看看，結果開心的喝光了！

We were happy to see the joy on the faces of our participants when they successfully made a cup that holds water well; we were also glad to witness the surprised expressions on their faces as they enjoyed the silky sparkling herbal drink! During the event, a mother said to her child, "This is a Healthy Cola!" Upon hearing that, the child, who did not want to try the drink at first, decided to give it a go. After the first sip, the child happily finished the whole cup!

原本活動前緊張的心情被喜悅與成就感取代，回想起那次擺攤的過程，腦中會浮現大家對於青草的好奇以及各種Wow的表情，很感謝大家的喜歡，未來賣艸人家也會持續努力以青草作為創作的靈感，帶給大家更多超乎想像的體驗！

The anxiety we felt before the event was replaced by a sense of joy and accomplishment. Even now, as we recollect our experience at the pop-up store, we can still vividly remember our customers' curiosity about herbs and their various "Wow" expressions when they tried our products. We thank you for your support. Herbartist will continue to work hard and draw inspiration from herbs to bring you even more stunning surprises!
